The Principle Gang – Awesome Anti-Bullying Books for Kids

I love, love, love The Principle Gang Books. I was sent two of them to review and I just love their message and what they are trying to convey to children. Not only are they anti-bullying books they teach another life lesson along the way too. Not to mention that they are beautifully illustrated.

Written by a physician and a physician’s assistant to create another way to reach children by teaching social skills and core values to young children that could possibly prevent bullying through stories. It’s a great idea because the NEA reports that 160,000 students stay home from school every day because of bullying. They’ve done an outstanding job creating adorable characters all with their own strengths and weaknesses.

Here is my 7 yeas old’s review of The Principle Gang Books. He didn’t know that he was reading an anti-bullying book, but look what he managed to pick out of both books!

I am a big supporter of anything that teaches kids values like these. I was bullied badly when I was in 7th & 8th grades. There was really no reason to it and I was lucky that I got to move away. Many kids deal with this every and do not get to move away. I never had to deal with cyberbullying, but I know that it’s gotten out of control. I have a teenager and I see what those kids say to each other publicly, so imagine what they have to nerve to say privately. This is a major problem nowadays, just ask any mom of a tween or teen.

Hopefully teaching younger kids to be accepting of everyone, as well as, teaching themselves to know their strengths and weaknesses will help.

These books are the perfect way to teach kids about the importance of kindness and standing up against bullying. The characters in the book are relatable and their adventures are so much fun to follow along with. And the best part? The lessons in these books are presented in a way that’s easy for kids to understand and apply in their own lives. So if you’re looking for a way to teach your little ones about empathy and respect, look no further than the Principle Gang books! Trust me, your kids will thank you for it.
