Have you heard of the NuFace facial toning device? If not, listen up, because you will definitely want to hear about this device!

Five Minute Facelift!

The Nuface is an at home electrical current device that works with the current of your body to contour and lift, the muscles in your face. The point of this, is to provide long term anti aging benefits. Basically, the device is supposed to give you what they call a five minute facelift. I just had to have one! After all, who doesn’t want real life, contoured cheekbones without having to use a ton of bronzer!

I received the device as well as a tube of the Nuface gel that must be used in order not to electrocute yourself and a charger my new Nuface! I couldn’t wait to try out my new beauty gadget!

Apply the Nuface Gel and Get Started!

The process is relatively simple! You apply the Nuface gel and follow the videos provided on the NuFace website to do either the 5-minute express facial or you can go hard and do the 15-minute facial! I’ve done both, and aside from a touch more contour in my cheeks I have not noticed much of a difference between 5 and 15 minute procedure.

Does it hurt?

You may be asking yourself: what does it feel like to put an electronic device to your face and zap your skin into looking better? It’s an odd sensation. Not painful, but I do like that I can feel the charge of the electrical current because I like to feel things working! One thing is for sure, it’s less painful than an ice facial. Granted an ice facial is free.

Do you have to use Nuface gel?

Without the gel, it would most certainly be terrible. The gel itself is fine, but I also have the basic kind that you have to wash after using the NuFace. They sell and more expensive version that you can leave on and it helps your skin look younger. I haven’t tried it yet, but maybe when I run out of my current tube I’ll splurge for the good stuff!

There are also attachments, you can buy to reduce wrinkles and target fine lines around your mouth and eyes. Needless to say, I would also like to invest in these attachments in the future!

To answer the question of whether it works or not, the short answer is yes and no.

Here’s the long answer: It DEFINITELY works to contour your skin… as in helloooooo cheekbones! I absolutely love how it makes my cheekbones pop and gives my eyebrows a little lift! The effect is pretty incredible actually… but also pretty temporary. The extra contour of my suddenly amazing cheekbones lasts for about 24 hours. Which for me, it’s totally fine. I have no problem adding 5 minutes to my routine in order to rock supermodel style cheekbones.

What I haven’t noticed yet are any long term anti-aging benefits. However, I’ve only been using my NuFace regularly for about 3 weeks. I hope to notice more dramatic, long term benefits as time goes on.

According to the ENGAGE Clinical Study, an independent study that evaluated the efficacy of the NuFACE Trinity® device with Facial Trainer attachment to improve facial contour, skin tone and wrinkle reduction. Adios, fine lines and wrinkles.

  • 85% of users experienced improved facial contour
  • 80% of users reported their skin felt smoother
  • 77% of users reported their face looked more toned

Bottom line: I don’t want to live in a world without my NuFace! The dramatic results are worth every penny. I’m just hoping to see something that lasts a little longer than a day. I highly recommend!

Here is a video that shows you how it works:

Once you are done using NuFace, you can use the Jenu Plus Ultrasonic Infuser to apply your skincare.

Meanwhile, Meagan is trying all kinds of devices out! Here she is trying out a RejuvaliteMD.
